Joel Haber
Photoactive Materials Team Lead, Caltech

Dr. Haber is a staff scientist at Caltech. His research in LiSA focuses on high throughput/directed materials translation and integration. His expertise is in solid state and precursor chemistry and advanced high throughput techniques for materials discovery for solar fuels systems.

Joel Ager
Photoactive Materials, LBNL

Dr. Ager is a Senior Staff Scientist in the Materials Science Division at LBNL and Adjunct Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at UC Berkeley. His research in LiSA focuses on tandem catalysis. His expertise is synthesis and fundamental studies of optoelectronic materials, electrocatalysts, and advanced designs of solar fuels systems. Dr. Ager also serves as the site lead for LBNL.

Shaul Aloni
Photoactive Materials, LBNL

Dr Aloni is a staff scientist at the Inorganic and Imaging facilities of the Molecular Foundry at LBNL. His research in LiSA focuses on synthesis and chracteristion of photoactive materials and microenvironments through correlative electron microscopy. His expertise is in correlative and multimodal electron and optical microscopy as well as  gas phase synthesis of low dimensional semiconductor heterostructures and thin films.

Annie Greenaway
Photoactive Materials, NREL

Dr. Greenaway is a Staff Scientist in the Materials Physics group at NREL. Her research in LiSA focuses on high-quality synthesis of nitride photocatalysts and the design of novel photoelectrode architectures. Her expertise is in semiconductor synthesis and photoelectrochemical characterization for solar fuel production.

Jeff Neaton
Photoactive Materials, LBNL

Dr. Neaton is the Director of the Molecular Foundry, a Professor of Physics at UC Berkeley, and Senior Faculty Scientist in the Materials Science Division at LBNL. His research in LiSA focuses on photocatalyst discovery. His expertise is ab initio electronic structure theory, high-throughput materials discovery, and fundamental studies of optoelectronic materials.

Kristin Persson
Photoactive Materials, LBNL

Dr. Persson is a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at UC Berkeley, Director of the Materials Project, and a Faculty Staff Scientist at LBNL. Her research in LiSA focuses on accelerated discovery for durability. Her expertise is materials discovery by high throughput computation and workflows tailored for (photo)electrochemical systems.

Peidong Yang
Photoactive Materials, LBNL

Dr. Yang is the S.K. and Angela Chan Distinguished Professor of Energy and Professor of Chemistry at UC Berkeley and a Senior Faculty Scientist in the Materials Science Division at LBNL. His research in LiSA focuses on integrated tandem catalysis. His expertise is nanostructure synthesis, assembly and characterization, and plasmonics, catalysis and nanofluidics.

Andriy Zakutayev
Photoactive Materials, NREL

Dr. Zakutayev is a Research Scientist in the Physics group at NREL. His research in LiSA focuses on materials discovery for nitrides and oxynitrides. His expertise is discovery of new semiconductors by combinatorial techniques, synthesis and characterization.
