Myles Steiner
Systems and Integration Team Lead, NREL
Dr. Steiner is a Senior Scientist in the High Efficiency Tandems group at NREL, working on the development of III-V photovoltaics for terrestrial and space applications. He is the LiSA Team Lead for Systems and Integration. His research in LiSA focuses on on photoelectrode architectures for product-specific photoelectrochemical reactions including CO2 reduction.
Peter Agbo
Systems and Integration, LBNL
Dr. Agbo is a staff scientist in the Chemical Sciences Division at LBNL. His research in LiSA focuses on photocatalytic systems. His expertise is in bio-inspired photoelectrochemical catalysts for CO₂ reduction and vapor-fed, light driven solar fuels systems.
Emily Warren
Systems and Integration, NREL
Dr. Warren is a Staff Scientist and Group Manager of the High Efficiency Tandems, Cell & Module Performance team at NREL. Her research in LiSA focuses on photoelectrode architectures and carrier management. Her expertise is in the synthesis and integration of semiconductor materials into high performance solar energy conversion systems, and the design of tandem photovoltaic devices.
Adam Weber
Systems and Integration, LBNL
Dr. Weber is a Senior Scientist and Group Leader of the Energy Conversion Group at LBNL. His research in LiSA focuses on Multiphysics modeling. His expertise is in multiphysics models of advanced electrochemical systems including solar fuels generators, fuel cells, electrolyzers, and flow batteries.
Chengxiang Xiang
Systems and Integration, Caltech
Dr. Xiang is a research professor at Caltech. His research in LiSA focuses on the design, simulation and investigation of assembled microenvironments for liquid solar fuels generation using multi-physics modeling, advanced operando characterization and test-bed prototyping. His expertise is in solar fuels system design and demonstration and multiphysics modeling.

Dr. Bell is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UC Berkeley and an Affiliate at LBNL. His research with LiSA focuses on catalysis and Multiphysics modeling. His expertise is in heterogeneous electrocatalytic materials and mechanisms for solar fuels generation systems.
Francesca Toma
Systems and Integration, LBNL
Dr. Toma is a Visiting Faculty Professor in the Chemical Sciences Division at LBNL and the Director of the Institute of Functional Materials for Sustainability at Helmholtz Zentrum Hereon. Her research with LiSA focuses on materials integration and characterization. Her expertise is in the synthesis and nanoscale characterization of (photo)electrocatalysts and semiconductors.
